Modex OptiPanels and Madison Quay Partner to Build Nunawading Project

Melbourne, July 5th – Modex OptiPanels and Madison Quay Property & Development Pty Ltd have signed a strategic cooperation agreement to collaborate on one of Victoria’s three major projects set for 2023, with an estimated total sales value of AUD 200 million. Modex OptiPanels will be used for the construction of this project. The signing of this agreement marks a significant milestone for future market expansion in Australia.

Project Overview

Located on the historic Daniel Robertson Brickworks site, the development project covers an area of 49,060 square meters and comprises 173 townhouses. Situated approximately 20 kilometers east of Melbourne CBD, it offers convenient access to Nunawading Station and the Whitehorse Road shopping precinct, with Forest Hill Chase Shopping Center just 2.5 kilometers away. The project benefits from its prime location, being a 5-minute walk to Nunawading Train Station and a 10-minute drive to Glen Waverley & Box Hill, two prominent Chinese residential areas. The project boasts over 3500 square meters of landscaped parkland and a commercial center spanning over 10,000 square meters.

Modex OptiPanels has been entrusted with the first phase development, consisting of 51 townhouses and 13 houses, which must be completed within 3-6 months. The total sales value for the first phase amounts to AUD 70 million. Upon its launch in 2022, the project garnered immense attention and media coverage, selling out within two months.

The project is designed by Conrad Architect, one of Victoria’s top architectural design firms known for their innovative and functional design philosophy, aiming to create unique and personality-infused architectural masterpieces. The landscape design is undertaken by renowned designer Jack Merlo, who excels at blending natural elements with contemporary design to create stunning outdoor spaces. The interior design is led by Ljiljana Gazevic, Senior Associate at SJB. With her wealth of design experience and creativity, Ljiljana Gazevic combines unique aesthetic elements with practicality.
